Service Boundaries

What Twikz does — and what it does not do

Clear boundaries protect the customer, the editor and the credibility of the final document.

Twikz edits existing customer-authored material within the scope of the service purchased. Editing may include language refinement, structural intervention, source-linked analysis, consistency checking and document-specific review where those activities form part of the selected service.

The service does not replace authorship, specialist professional validation or decisions that require your academic, professional or organisational authority.

Accepted core documents

The four core services cover defined academic, career and professional documents.

• Dissertation & Thesis Editing: master’s dissertations, doctoral theses and selected chapters or related thesis material where the service permits it.
• Research Paper & Journal Manuscript Editing: research papers and scholarly manuscripts being prepared for journal submission, revision or resubmission.
• Executive CV / Résumé & Applications: executive, professional, academic and specialist CVs or résumés, together with role-specific cover letters, supporting statements, competency responses and written application material included in the service.
• Professional Document Editing: reports, proposals, strategic, analytical, technical and other professional documents that fall within the published service scope.

Subject and specialist scope

Editorial depth depends on the document and the available expertise.

Twikz matches work to appropriate editorial and subject experience where the selected service requires substantive, discipline-aware or sector-aware review.

Where a document falls outside available competence, the work may be limited to an appropriate level of language or presentation editing, offered through a different service, or declined.

Editing competence is not the same as professional certification. A document may be edited for clarity, structure and internal consistency without Twikz representing that its scientific, statistical, legal, medical, engineering or other specialist content has been independently validated.

Excluded work

Some work falls outside the Twikz service model.

Undergraduate essays, routine coursework, examinations, model answers or assessed work where the requested intervention would breach applicable academic rules.

• Academic ghostwriting, fabricated research or evidence, invented citations, or requests to disguise AI-generated work as human-authored.
• Personal statements or admissions essays unless Twikz establishes a separate service with clearly defined integrity controls.
• Independent scientific, statistical, medical, legal, engineering or other specialist validation outside stated qualifications and service scope.
• PowerPoint or pitch-deck design, thesis-defence presentation design, illustration or visual-design production.
• Tender or RFP authorship, broad marketing-copy production, social-media content and general website copy unless a separate service expressly covers that work.
• Legal advice, grievance or disciplinary advice, regulated financial advice or other professional advice requiring an appropriately authorised adviser.
• General fiction, poetry, children’s books, memoirs, translation and illustration.

Editing is not validation

Editorial review does not establish that the underlying facts or specialist conclusions are correct.

Language, structure, source relationships and internal consistency can be examined without independently proving that the underlying research, figures, forecasts, methods, references, legal positions, professional claims or organisational decisions are correct.

Twikz does not represent editorial checking as scientific validation, statistical verification, legal review, financial audit or another form of specialist assurance.

Where a selected service expressly includes a defined verification or cross-checking activity, that activity is limited to what the service page states is included.

Non-authorial boundary

Third-party decisions remain outside Twikz’s control.

Twikz does not guarantee publication, a particular grade, examination or viva success, an interview, employment, promotion, funding, approval, acceptance or any other outcome controlled by a university, journal, employer, client, regulator or other third party.

The service improves the document within its published editorial scope; it does not control the decision made after the document is submitted or used.

Right to decline or pause work

Twikz may decline work that cannot be handled responsibly within the service.

Twikz may decline an order, or pause work after purchase where necessary, because of:

• subject or specialist mismatch;
• insufficient time to complete the work responsibly;
• missing institutional, journal, employer or other governing requirements needed for the service;
• prohibited, unlawful or integrity-compromising use;
• unacceptable confidentiality, security or professional risk;
• an unsuitable or inaccessible file format;
• materially incomplete or inaccurate information; or
• lack of appropriate reviewer capacity.

If this happens after purchase, Twikz will explain the issue and the available next step. Any cancellation or refund for work that cannot proceed will be handled under the Correction & Refund Policy and applicable law.

No external outcome guarantee

Third-party decisions remain outside Twikz’s control.
